Description
Authentic vintage nomadic camel bag from the Turkmen tribes. Handmade using hand spun wool with part flat weave and part soumak weave. Hand woven wool ties. Hand braided side reinforcements with looped handles.
Front: Skilled soumak weave band
Back: Original flat weave back with some brocading.
These large sitting pillows are sold unfilled for ease of posting and allowing you to fill them to your specifications.
Ideas for filling:
1) Loose stuffing available from Spotlight, Lindcraft, Ebay etc
2) Foam (different thicknesses, firmness available) cut to size from places like Clark Rubber
3) Utilize your own available stuffing in true nomadic style! Think old pillows, quilts, blankets, clothes that aren’t in a good enough condition to be donated to charity.
